India , Dubai , USARubeena Ismath is a dynamic and passionate Interior Design professional who has graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the Robert Busch School of Design, Kean University (USA, 2006). This Institute is one of the few accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) in the USA. She also studied her first 3 years of her Bachelors degree in Interior Design in the reputed American University of Sharjah(U.A.E) wherein the College of Architecture, Art and Design is famous for its NAAB accredited (National Architectural Accrediting Board of USA) programs. She then transferred to KeanUniversity in USA where she finally graduated.
She has more than 8 years experience in the Interior Design, Planning and Construction industry. She began her career in India as a Junior Interior Designer and then proceeded to Dubai where she worked as a Senior Interior Designer at MAKSQUARE a Dubai based Interior Design Consultancy Company between 2011 2012 currently known as AKDesigno. She then went on to working at Space Concepts an architectural firm where she was hired as the Lead Interior Designer.
During her experience in the Gulf she worked in multiple Design projects in the Residential, Retail, Commercial, Wellness, Hospitality and Leisure Sectors. She handled Projects beginning from the Research, Development, Planning, Conceptual Design, 3D visual developments, F F & E selections, Specifications all the way up to Procurement and Handover. She has designed renovated, re-furbished and incepted ideas for an elite private clientele in the Gulf and procured mid scale to large scale projects and even luxury interior projects at the Burj Khalifa.
She has exceptional design acumen in classical, traditional, eclectic, industrial, transitional, modern and post-modern architecture and interiors styles. She believes in creating a functional, economic, aesthetic and comfortable space for all her clients and has therefore created a niche for herself in the Industry by specializing in Residential and Retail Interiors.
She has excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills. She is also well-versed in 6 languages apart from English namely Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, and Arabic that allows her to understand and communicate with her colleagues and clientele efficiently.
Her expertise in Human Psychology attained during her studies in the U.S.A has helped her in understand the Human Factors of her clients requirements very well. Her fervour in Architecture, Interior design & Nature has also led her to travel and explore places in the U.S.A, U.K, Gulf Region and Europe.
When shes not working she loves spending time with her daughter, reading, watching movies, Spending time with family and friends; travelling, cooking, and swimming.
