Manjunath Gowda

Manjunath finished his schooling and did Diploma in Architecture from Impact college of engineering, Bangalore. On completion, he graduated in Barch (Bachelors of Architecture) from UVCE (University Visveswaraya College of Engineering). He was a Topper of the batch with gold medal and has also won national level competitions in his academics. He is part of DesignQube as a team leader in architecture wing since 2014. He is passionate and enthusiastic about green architecture and is skilled in developing both classical and contemporary designs. Another trait of his is his ability to communicate in multiple languages like English, Kannada, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. His capacity to understand the detailed requirements from clients and to emulate the same in the design helps him deliver well. Right from sketching to help clients understand his initial ideas, to executing the design to perfection?while meeting the design-intent within the budget, Manjunath has sharpened his skills. Hes resourceful through his knowledge in materials, structure and execution experience. As a part of his experience he started his career doing part time job during his academics for Design Square and Shiva Kumar Associates in Bangalore. After graduating he worked for ?Centimetre? (Interior Firm) in Bangalore, as an Architect, where he worked on various projects right from individual residences, resort and restaurants. One of the unique projects is Vanani a theme based restaurant with innovative use of materials, emulating a forest ambiance through play of lights. He worked with "Newarch Design Consultants"(Architectural Firm) in Bangalore, as a project architect, where he got experience in high rise structures and opportunities to work as team with expertise from various fields for execution under a single roof. During this period he was involved in the master planning and design of a 5 acre mixed-use complex in Bangalore, and was the project architect for a 2,00,000 sq ft Corporate Office Building in Mysore. He also handled various apartment complexes, high-end residential projects and villas. Apart from designing he loves riding his bike, traveling & trekking. He plays Cricket and Chess during his spare?time.
